Brandy is a female shepherd mix and weighs 66 pounds. She was owned by a very caring owner. The shelter says this because she is plump, well-fed, has a shiny coat, and is very well-behaved. She is dog- and cat-friendly and already spayed.
Brandy’s owner unexpectedly passed away. Brandy has another sibling at the shelter. Sadly, no other family members can take in the dogs. They have been a bit scared, but are overall very sweet and docile with everyone. They especially enjoy being petted and being right next to you.
The shelter’s rescue partners are full on big dogs, so they haven’t had any luck transporting them at the moment. They are used to being inside a home and have been taken out of their comfort zone.
Anyone interested in Brandy can visit her at the animal shelter at 1273 Balok St. in Gallup. They are open Monday-Friday from 8 am – 5 pm, with animal viewing hours from 10:30 am – 4:30 pm; and Saturdays from 9 am – 3 pm, with viewing hours from 10:30 am – 4:30 pm.
