Muffin is a 2.5-month-old male kitten. He loves to throw his ball around and chase after it. He plays with his siblings all day; they wrestle, chew on each other’s ears, and toss their toys around.
Muffin was in foster care as a baby. His story was rough, but he turned resilient; he was found in a Cheeto box with his siblings ready to be hauled off to the city dump. A lady stopped the man who had the box of kittens in his trash and said she’d take them instead of him dumping them in the trash pit. Muffin was on the bottle-fed for a few weeks.
Despite this rough start, he is known to be very cuddly. He loves to be snuggled inside your shirt. His loud, vibrational purr says it all, his happiest moments are snuggled up to you. He also favors a tent bed with a small blanket inside; you can find him curled up underneath it, snoozing away.
Muffin is the last of his litter still searching for the right family to call his own. Anyone interested in Muffin can visit him at the animal shelter at 1273 Balok St. in Gallup. They are open Monday-Friday from 8 am – 5 pm, with animal viewing hours from 10:30 am – 4:30 pm; and Saturdays from 9 am – 3 pm, with viewing hours from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm.
