She was found on Interstate 40, and she was very small. She was found with an injured eye. She was immediately taken into surgery, where the McKinley County Humane Society’s vet removed her eye to prevent further infection from spreading. Koda has since recovered from the injury.
She’s spunky, energetic, and wiggles for attention in her kennel. She loves being around people and other dogs.
She’s had a rough start to life, but despite it all she’s been so loving and vibrant.
Koda can be fostered or adopted.
Anyone interested in Koda can visit her at the McKinley County Humane Society at 1273 Balok St. in Gallup. They are open Monday-Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm.
