BJ was born in Zuni on Oct. 21, 1969. He was born into the Mustard Seed Plant, born for Frog Clan.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomacita Lesarlley and Bernard Cachini, Sr.; his paternal grandparents Buddie and Lillian Cachini; and his maternal grandparents Charles Hannaweeke and Pauline Hannaweeke. He is survived by his Daughter Alexis Brieno; his son-in-law Manuel Brieno; his daughter Miranda Cachini; his granddaughter Kamaya Whitehair; his sister Aurelia Hughte; two nieces; two nephews; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at a residence in Zuni on June 6.
