The City of Gallup will be milling Gladden Avenue from Mollica Drive and Valentina Drive and Valentina Drive from Mark Avenue to Boyd Avenue starting June 22. Paving will occur at a later date.
The work is expected to go on until July 3. The work will occur daily from 7 am to 7 pm. Crews will not be working weekends.
Residents should expect delays and plan traveling accordingly, using alternative routes whenever possible. The city is also asking that residents show the street department’s employees respect and kindness during this period of improvements.
