Leonard Lee Begay, of Buffalo Spring, N.M., died on April 7. He was 64.
He was born in Gallup on April 24, 1961. He was born into the Tábąąhá (Water’s Edge Clan) and born for the Tódich’íi’nii (Bitter Water Clan).
Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, Angela Louise Upshaw and Henry Begay, Sr. He is survived by his wife Julia Begay; his daughters Lasandra Begay, Janelle Begay, and Leandra Begay; his son Leslie Begay; his grandson Liam Begay; and his caretaker Emily.
Funeral services will be held at Cope Memorial Chapel on April 11 at 10 am.
