Derald “Poncho” Victor Haley, of Coyote Canyon, N.M., died May 18. He was 46.
He was born in Gallup on Sept. 14, 1979. He was born into the Bitter Water, born for Water Flowing Together.
Poncho was preceded in death by his mother Ruby Mary Haley; his maternal grandparents Billy Victor Nez, Sr. and Mary Rose Nez; and his paternal grandmother Dorothy Lilly. He is survived by his wife Freda Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at Cope Memorial Chapel on May 22 at 10 am. Flowers can be sent to Cope Memorial Chapel.
