Celia K. Pierce, of Gallup, died on March 12. She was 86.
She was born in Zuni, N.M., on Feb. 24, 1940.
Celia was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Alice Tekala; her brother Lawerence Tekala; her husband Harrison Pierce; and her grandson Gregory A. Winkler. She is survived by her daughter Carmen Winkler.
Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral on April 18 at 2 pm. Houseplants can be sent to 715 E. Logan Ave.
