Delores Ann Barney, of Twin Lakes, N.M., died March 20. She was 79.
She was born in Rehoboth, N.M., on March 7, 1947. She was born into the Bitter Water People, born for Ute People.
Delores was preceded in death by her son Shawn D. Barney; her parents Earl Sherman Sr. and Adeline L. Sherman; her brothers Roger and Joel; and her sisters Emma Dor they and Linda Earleen.
She is survived by her sons Noel K. Barney and Delbert S. Barney; her daughter Sheena L. Yazzie; her brother Earl Sherman; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at Rollie Mortuary on March 30.
