Gallup Police posted a warning on Facebook Sept. 8 of a bear sighting near the Canyon De Chelly area within the Indian Hills subdivision. The sighting occured around 1:30 am.
The Department of Game and Fish has been notified, and the Gallup Police Department is asking the public to remain vigilant.
