Gallup Police are asking the public to anticipate traffic delays after they responded to a single-vehicle collision Aug. 31 around 10:30 am at the 17 mile marker on westbouns Insterstate 40.
As of 1 pm, the interstate is still restricted to one lane until the semi-truck can be removed from the roadway. This is an ongoing investigation. Drivers should seek alternative routes where possible and exercise caution by slowing down in the area.
