Mary Ann Brooks, of Gallup, died on Nov. 26. She was 85.
She was born in Fort Defiance, Ariz., on Jan. 19, 1940. She was born into the Towering House clan.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Anna; her brothers Juan, Shush, and Frank Yellowhorse; and her sisters Jane Yellowhorse and Gloria Jarnagin. She is survived by her daughters Norma Baldonado and Stormy Rains and her sons Tyrone Brooks and Robert Williams.
A Funeral service will be held at Church of the Holy Spirit in Gallup on Dec. 20 at 11 am.
