In Loving Memory: Lenora Sam, of Brimhall, N.M., died on July 12. She was 51.

She was born in Crownpoint, N.M., on Feb. 18, 1974. She was born into the Meadow People clan Haltsooi, born for Black Streak Forest People Tsi’naajinii.

Lenora is survived by her parents Fayerena and Harrison Sam.

A funeral service was held at Rollie Mortuary, 401 E. Nizhoni Blvd, on July 21.
