He was born in Gibson, N.M. on Aug. 6, 1935.
Magdaleno was preceded in death by his wife Carmelita Alonzo); his grandson Christopher Rohan; his sisters Jenny Vallez and Lucia Alonzo; his brothers Gilbert, Pete, and Antonio Alonzo; and his parents San Juana Ruiz Alonzo and Aniceto Alonzo. He is survived by his sons: Edward, Magdaleno Jr., and Lawrence Alonzo; his daughters Caroline Rohan, Josephine Alonzo, and Stephaine Martinez; his sisters Irene Romero and Lorenza Ukastine; and his brothers Salvador and Raymond Alonzo.
A funeral service will be held at St. Francis Church on Oct. 29 at 10:30 am. Memorials/flowers can be sent to St. Francis Church.
