The Gallup Fire Department will be conducting Fire Hydrant Flow Testing throughout the month of November.
All fire hydrants will be opened and flushed, along with annual maintenance conducted on them.
Some fire hydrants will also be fully opened for water flow to conduct capacity calculations. This is being done in preparation for the Fire Department Grading Criteria.
For the areas that will be tested there may be a temporary discoloration of water.
