Cheryl Reah Anderson, of Fort Defiance, Ariz., died on July 20. She was 61.
She was born in Oakland, Calif., on April 1, 1965. She was born into the Ma’ii Deeshgiizhinii – Coyote Pass – Jemez Clan, born for Táchii’nii – Red Running into the Water Clan.
Anderson was preceded in death by her father, Edward N. Anderson, and her brothers, Charles C. Anderson and Patrick N. Anderson. She is survived by her sons Kyle N. Anderson and Jerald P. Anderson; her mother, Ruby J. Anderson; and her brothers, William E. Anderson and Paul A. Anderson.
A funeral service will be held at St. Michaels Catholic Church in St. Michaels, Ariz., on July 28 at 10 am, with the viewing at 9:30 am.
