She was born in Shiprock, N.M., on Aug. 18, 1975. She was born into the Tl’aashchi’i, born for Kiyaa’aanii clan.
Valentina was preceded in death by Jeremiah Hood. She is survived by Fred Hood, Virginia Hood, Michelle Hood, Alexandra Hood, and Jessica Hood.
Funeral services will be held at Cope Memorial Chapel on Dec. 1 at 9 am. Memorial/flowers can be sent to Cope Memorial Chapel.
