DeAndre showcased his talent with hustle (defensively) and hard work throughout the game in Wingate Jan. 24. He helped his Tohatchi teammates come out with the win. They won with a score of 70-55. DeAndre and his teammates helped hold off Wingate’s rallies throughout the game to help seal the victory.

In the Jan. 23 game against Ramah, LaDainian was the leading point scorer with 20 total points. After the first quarter, TYG was down by double digits. LaDainian’s effort throughout the game brought the team within three points of winning in a hard-fought contest that was thrilling to watch. As a senior, LaDainian made Principal’s Honor Roll for the first semester. He plans to pursue post-secondary training through Navajo Technical University in the fall.

Geneva’s grit and effort to battle for both defensive and offensive boards earned her a spot on the all-tournament team at the Rehoboth Girls Basketball Tournament. She finished the weekend with a combined 30 rebounds over the three games played.
