As of 5 pm July 27, Gallup Police are responding to a situation in which a person has barricaded themselves in a residence.
The GPD responded to a call at 802 W. Maloney Ave. and is currently managing a situation involving an armed barricaded person inside the residence. As officers continue to manage the scene, Maloney Avenue (east and west) and the area around North Ninth Street near the scene are closed to traffic.
