He was born in Gallup on Sept. 18, 1958.
Alex was preceded in death by his parents John Barraza Sr. and Sally Barraza and his brother John Barraza Jr.
He is survived by his wife Emily Barraza; his sons Erick Barraza and Eric Madrid; his daughter s Va l a r ie Ba r ra za , Daniel le Ba r ra z a , Dolores Madrid, and Victoria Christina Hren; his brothers Anthony and Michael Barraza; and his sisters Maryann Calderonl and Cathy Ibarra.
Funeral services were held at Sacred Heart Cathedral on Nov. 3.
