She was born into the Clump Tree (Tsin sikaadnii). She was born in Fort Defiance, Ariz. on Oct. 5, 1949.
Laura is survived by her husband Robert Fisher; her children: Ardrene, Simone, Dawn, Shawn and Ian; her grandchildren: Joseph, Veroneca, Jessi, Liliana, Sky and Sam; and her great grandchildren: Lyla and Shaylee.
A celebration of life will be held at the Iyanbito Chapter House Feb. 19 at 1 pm. The celebration will also include a potluck.
