The Gallup Fire Department were called to multiple brush fires during the night of Feb. 24.
According to a Feb. 25 Facebook post, Crew C of the GFD was dispatched to a brush fire on the north side of town during the late hours of Feb. 24. This was the third brush fire of their shift.
Upon arrival crews found a fire burning in an open field with several structures in the area. Crews deployed hoselines to get a quick knockdown of the fire before any structures were damaged. No injuries were reported.
